Need a job? How about Bermuda?

So the 4 ex-detainees released from Guantanamo are working at a golf course in Bermuda. The Brits aren't very pleased with the situation, but I think it's hysterical. Can you imagine being one of these guys, doing whatever the hell they were doing (non-conspiratorial, since they're not a threat) in China or Afghanistan or wherever, then end up working in Bermuda? Sure, spending all that time in prison sucked, but at least they get a chance to work at a premier golf course in a tropical paradise. It's also good to know they're doing quite well at their jobs, but not surprising considering going back to China isn't really in their best interests... outstanding Chinese warrants or something.

Maybe Tiger can hire them when the tournament is over...

Wow ... jobs...what a concept. Whereas over 1% of our population is in jail/prison now, gets released, and then has nowhere to go, no job, etc, they end up back in jail...these guys land a job. Is hysterical. Worldwide unemployment is down, but not if your a former terrorist...I guess if the choice is be a terrorist or get a job as a non terrorist, being a non terrorist pays better...we live in a strange world.

However, imagine if they could combine both: Snipers behind bunkers, landmines in the fairway, IDE along the cart path, ambushes in the sand-traps, and look in the hole before you retrieve your ball...! Who knows what lurks in the water... Golf would have a whole new edge...

In a hushed voice..."Tiger steps up to the plate, tilts his kevlar helmet slightly to the right as he squints down range. He steps up, swings, and the ball explodes! OMG he starts off 1 over..."

"Jim, Harrington is in trouble. His cart was just hit by dual IDE's and his caddy just took a shot in the leg from a sniper off the 18th bunker! This could be trouble!"

"The Blackhawks are however over the hole now, the protection is needed, but the downforce of wind will make this 3 foot put a bit of a challenge. The gallery is very quiet, as if they know something...."

"Bob, was that a Navy Seal I just saw pokes its head up from the water on 14? Wow! That was awesome..."

Ahhh....well, interesting thoughts at least.
